Unlike the Twelve Apostles, Paul did not know Jesus in life; he came to faith through a vision of the resurrected Jesus and stressed that his apostolic authority was based on his vision.

As he wrote, he "received it [the Gospel] by revelation from Jesus Christ".

Day 2: Early morning drive to Antakya, where St. Paul took as a base during his journeys. Visit the Mosaic Museum and St. Peters Grotto. Drive to Seleucia from where St. Paul sailed to Cyprus. Overnight: Mersin.

Day 3: Drive to Tarsus where St. Paul was born. Visit St. Paul s well. After lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy the pleasant drive to Side. Overnight: Side.

Day 4: Explore Pamphylia. Visit Aspendos to see the best preserved ancient theatre of the World and then head on to Perge, a Roman city, where St. Paul preached during his first missionary journey. Drive to Antalya after lunch to visit the famous museum of archaeology. Overnight: Antalya.
